Sadie M. Estep Lane, 88, 307 E. Main St., died at 2:23 a.m. Friday at Wabash County Hospital. She was born April 4, 1904, in Wise County, Va., to John and Elizabeth (Gillen) Moore. A widowed homemaker, she is survived by six sons - Ted Estep, address unknown; Frankie Gilland, Reistertown, Md.; H.B. Lane, Howard Lane, Kelley Lane, and Dan Lane all of Wabash; and two daughters, Stella Jean Jessee and Joan Hill, both of Wabash. She is also survived by two sisters - Ruth Bryant of Tennessee and Venus Freeman, address unknown - and 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Erie Street Freewill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bobby Webb officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Eddingfield-DeLaughter Mortuary from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. They may also call at the church one hour before the services. - Date of death: Jan. 8, 1993.
